You might have noticed when you closing the multiple tabs on your Chrome, it not even asking for the confirmation that you want to close all the tabs at once, whereas this feature is already in other popular browsers like Firefox and IE etc. In this post, I am going to help you enable this feature using an amazing Chrome Extension made by Google itself.
Chrome Toolbox is the extension that can help you get many missing features for Google Chrome, read more about Chrome Toolbox and its features here. Install the Chrome Toolbox extension and then under options, check the setting that says “Confirm before closing multiple tabs”.
Your Google Chrome will now prompt you with a confirmation message should you ever hit that “Close All Tabs” button by mistake.
Update: Currently this plugin isn’t working on Windows 8.
