After yesterday’s announcements from Asus, it is very clear that the company is started focusing on producing more premium devices in India. Asus a Taiwanese electronics company announced a full range of ZenFone 3 devices in India which are ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ZenFone 3 Ultra, and the ZenFone 3 Laser.
The Company has also made an announcement that ZenFone 3 Delux is going to be the first device ever to feature Snapdragon 821. Asus ZenFone 3 is already available and you can buy it from Flipkart and Amazon, other variants will also be available by the end of next month which is September 2016. All variants of ZenFone 3 will be available on all major Indian e-Commerce sites, leading digital retail stores and Asus exclusive stores.
Asus took really bold steps by announcing all variants above Rs. 18,000/- this is the most ever expensive SmartPhones series from Asus so it will be interesting to see the marketing strategy of Asus and how the Indian market reacts on ZenFone 3 range.
Lately Asus may have sold decent numbers of devices but that was in a budget range not expensive like these devices; this time Asus directly competing with iPhone and Samsung which are well established and reputed brand in Indian SmartPhone market.
