The wait is over for iPhone lovers, Apple has revealed their new range of devices including the much hyped and rumoured bezel-less smartphone and they called it iPhone X. Apple’s has made the biggest design changes ever with the iPhone X.
Apple has also revealed iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Apple Watch 3 and Apple TV 4K during the launch event held by the company in the Steve Jobs Theater, named after the company’s co-founder and most well-known CEO, Steve Jobs. As Apple CEO Tim Cook said in his opening remarks, “It was only fitting that Steve would open his theatre.”
Apple has launched four other products but the iPhone X has got all the attention, Apple iPhone X is a bezel-less device with super retina display, FaceID, and dual rear camera. Whether you like it or not, you will see the design of Apple iPhone X everywhere as most of the Android device manufacturer is just doing the copy paste of Apple’s design
Apple ditched the home button completely to reduce the bezels of iPhone X and also there is no ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which was rumoured, instead of using the fingerprint sensor Apple trusted on the FaceID to unlock the phone. FaceID is the infrared-powered facial recognition system that Apple claiming is 20 times more secure than Touch ID. The FaceID can recognize your face even if you change your hairstyle or are wearing glasses or a hat, users can also make payments via Apple Pay using the FaceID.
The company said FaceID is as easy as looking at the device and swiping the screen, but Craig Federighi had an embarrassing moment when he struggled to unlock the device while demonstrating Face ID at the launch event.
The TrueDepth camera system is the technology behind Apple FaceID, it uses the detailed depth map of your face to recognize you in an instant. There’s a lot of sensors packed in there, including an IR camera and a dot projector. The dot projector throws 30,000 dots on user’s face to build the unique facial map, an infrared camera reads the dot pattern, captures an infrared image, then sends the data to the Secure Enclave in the A11 Bionic chip to confirm a match.
The systems read the map, matches it against the stored image on the phone using a neural network processor built into the phone, and unlocks the phone. Flood Illuminator is also there, the infrared light from Flood Illuminator helps identify your face even when it’s dark out.
I have never been a fan of iPhones, I like Android more. I can not judge the device because I haven’t tried it yet but as I see its images and videos, it seems to be a beautiful device but not the most beautiful, I think Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2 still the most beautifully designed device yet. Don’t get me wrong I am not comparing these two devices because both are completely different in its own way, I am just comparing the designs and in my opinion, Mi Mix 2 is the winner. Apart from iPhone X rest of the product released at the event are just the updated and improved version of its predecessor.

There is a huge difference in the price tag of iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X in India when you will comparing it with its price in company’s home country the United States. The iPhone X is 39% expensive, iPhone 43% and iPhone 8 Plus is 41% expensive in India.
See the below chart where I have compared the prices of all variants and to make this easy for Indian customers I have converted the US Dollars to Indian Rupees as per the current exchange rates, so all prices are in Indian rupees.
As you can see in the chart, the differences in price tags are insanely huge, but it is an iPhone and price is their main USP. Maybe this is the time when every iPhone fan will remember that relatives who live in the USA. You can literally buy two Xiaomi Mi A1 with a dual rear camera, beautiful design and stock android just for the price difference of iPhone X 256GB if you are getting it from the US.
