OnePlus made it official on their website in China that the OnePlus 13 series will be launched on October 31. The OnePlus 13 series phones are coming sooner than expected and it is good news for potential OnePlus buyers or fans who were waiting for a flat-display phone.
We have witnessed and at some point in time been part of the discussion about curved display vs flat display phones. Forget about all other pros/cons and likes/dislikes, at least now it is no longer a premium thing. All medium and low-budget phones are trending with curved LED or AMOLED displays; it’s not a big deal anymore. The trendsetter in the tech and smartphone industry, ‘Apple’ never made any phones with a curved display, Even Samsung quit the curved display recently so it has to be a flat display for the OnePlus 13.
As expected OnePlus 13 will be powered with the latest Qualcomm flagship processor, Snapdragon 8 Elite (announcement expected soon). The OnePlus 13 will be among the first few smartphones to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will feature a 50MP LYT-808 main camera, an ISOCELL JN1 for the ultrawide, and an LYT-600 for the 3x zoom lens.
Packed with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB storage, it also includes a powerful 6,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless magnetic charging. The front will showcase a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1440x3168px. Like its predecessors, the “H” logo indicating its partnership with Hasselblad for camera enhancement will also be there.
Expected Price and Release Date in India:
OnePlus has made it official on its Chinese website that the OnePlus 13 will be launched on 31 October 2024. The launch event will start at 16:00 O’clock. Remember, this is the release date for China, and there is no official release date for India yet. However, based on previous releases, we can expect the launch of the OnePlus 13 in India by the end of November 2024, and regular sales might start from the second week of December.
The price of the OnePlus 13 is expected to start from ₹75,000; after availing the bank/cards and other offers on amazon.in or oneplus.in, the effective price is expected to be around 68-72K Indian Rupees.
