OnePlus 3 is the upcoming flagship device of Chinese startup OnePlus. The company is about to host an event in China on 7th April, as indicated by GizmoChina, the OnePlus 3 could be uncovered at the event on April 7 but company’s co-founder Carl Pei said earlier that “OnePlus 3 will arrive toward the end of Q2, 2016”.
Android Authority has a different story about the release, according to Android Authority company’s officials confirmed that this event has nothing to do with OnePlus 3 release.
So it is very confusing whether OnePlus will release OnePlus 3 on 7th April or not.!!??
I guess, maybe they will officially announce the OnePlus 3 at the event and learning from OnePlus 2 release they will take time before starting the sale and maybe the sale will start before 30 June which is the end of Q2.
OnePlus is very well known for bringing top hardware at an affordable price, rumour is OnePlus 3 will also have flagship specs.

The phone will be released in two variants 32GB & 64GB storage, 32GB internal storage with 3GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB storage with 4GB DDR4 RAM. OnePlus 3 will have dual 4G SIM dual standby with one hybrid SIM slot for microSD card, you can either use two SIM card or one SIM card + microSD card.
Company’s co-founder Carl Pei said the device will have “new design” but the report is they are definitely going to continue the company’s signature sandstone design at the rear side and alert slider.
OnePlus haven’t tasted the success what they had expected from OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X, till now OnePlus One is the only successful device which even exceeds the expectation of the company. OnePlus might be desperate to repeat the success of OnePlus One but they need to remember that CyanogenMod played a major role in the success of OnePlus One.
OnePlus 2 received too many negative reviews and feedback from customers because of buggy OS. OnePlus lost all the trust and fan following which they have earned with OnePlus One and that is only because of Oxygen OS, So OnePlus needs to come up with really stable, smooth and bug free OS if they are dreaming of repeating the success of OnePlus One because once again OS will play most important role and success or failure of OnePlus 3 will depend on it’s OS.
