New Delhi, July 10, 2025: Samsung has officially started pre-orders for its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, in India. According to the company, these smartphones are thinner, lighter builds, smarter AI features, and the most immersive screens yet in the Galaxy Z lineup.

The tech giant is doubling down on its foldable future with these 7th-gen models, each blending cutting-edge engineering with intelligent features powered by the new One UI 8 and Android 16. Both devices feature refinements that go beyond aesthetics, offering advanced multitasking, next-level camera capabilities, and deeper AI integration designed to elevate how users interact with their phones.

Galaxy Z Fold7: A Powerful Foldable for Work and Play

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7 is the slimmest and lightest in the series, weighing just 215 grams. Despite its lighter profile, it’s packed with pro-grade camera hardware, a larger 8-inch AMOLED display, and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip that boosts AI and gaming performance.

This device is built for serious multitasking. Whether you’re editing on the go, juggling multiple apps, or video calling, the expanded main screen and enhanced durability make the Fold7 feel more like a futuristic productivity tablet in your pocket.

Camera lovers, take note: the Fold7 boasts a 200MP wide-angle camera, Galaxy Z’s highest resolution yet, along with AI-optimised imaging features and improved low-light video capabilities. Combined with AI-powered tools like Photo Assist, Generative Edit, and Drawing Assist, content creation becomes seamless and smart.

Key Highlights:

  • 8-inch AMOLED main display, now 11% larger with 2,600 nits peak brightness
  • 200MP AI-enhanced camera, 10MP ultra-wide selfie lens
  • Slimmest Fold yet: only 8.9mm folded, 4.2mm unfolded
  • Snapdragon 8 Elite: 41% NPU, 38% CPU, 26% GPU boost
  • Enhanced durability: Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2 & Armor Aluminum frame
  • AI-driven productivity: Multimodal Gemini Live, Circle to Search, Split View AI results

Galaxy Z Flip7: Your AI-Powered Pocket Companion

The Galaxy Z Flip7 refines Samsung’s clamshell design with its largest-ever cover screen, a 4.1-inch edge-to-edge Super AMOLED FlexWindow, offering users greater control without even flipping open the device. The Flip7 brings power, style, and AI smarts to a compact form factor that’s now slimmer (13.7mm when folded) and lighter (188 grams) than ever before.

What truly makes the Flip7 stand out is how Samsung has infused the device with Galaxy AI, optimised for hands-free tasks, voice commands, and real-time camera interactions right from the cover screen. From Gemini Live voice assistance to Now Bar and Now Brief updates, the Flip7 feels more like a mini personal assistant than just a phone.

Highlights Include:

  • 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display
  • Upgraded 4,300mAh battery for up to 31 hours of video playback
  • 50MP + 12MP rear cameras with enhanced Nightography and 10-bit HDR video
  • ProVisual Engine with AI filters and Zoom Slider for cover-screen selfies
  • First Galaxy Z Flip to feature Samsung DeX for PC-like productivity
  • FlexWindow supports app previews, Gemini AI, and media controls
  • Flip7 FE: Affordable Folding, Big on Experience

To make foldables more accessible, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE — a more budget-friendly foldable offering the same FlexCam features, a 6.7-inch main display, and a 50MP camera, all in a sleek and compact design. It includes smart cover-screen updates like Now Brief and supports Samsung’s AI tools in a lighter format.
