Today on September 7 in Mumbai, Vivo India has just launched a brand new selfie-centric smartphone called Vivo V7 Plus, V7 Plus targeting the camera especially the selfie segment like previously released Vivo V series phones. With the Vivo V7 Plus, the company has also introduced the bezeless rather a less bezels display, I am calling it less bezel device because it’s not completely bezeless like Mi Mix or Essential’s phones still the front design looks stunning considering the device size, it has only 2.55mm side bezels. Vivo V7 Plus is the first ever smartphone to have the 24-megapixel front camera however it also has the 16-megapixel rear shooter, 4GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

First Impression Of Vivo V7 Plus:
Vivo V7 Plus is the latest member of Vivo V7 Plus family so it is very obvious to be a selfie-centric device. Earlier this the company has introduced selfie centric smartphones like V5 Plus with 16+8 MP dual front camera and V5s with 20-megapixel selfie camera but this time it is a 24-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and softlight LED flash also known as the moonlight flash. I haven’t taken many pictures yet (while drafting the post) but I am sharing two photo sample from both rear and front camera. Basic design and build of Vivo V7 Plus is very similar to previously launched Vivo V5s but the display of V7 Plus making it different from all Vivo smartphones launched in India yet. Vivo V7 Plus has 5.99 inches of 1441×720 IPS HD display in the size of devices with 5.5 inches display.
I can not say that V7 Plus is a bezeless phone but it is absolutely a brilliant attempt towards making the device bezeless, it has a thin layer of bezels around the display which gives it a large 5.99 inches display size in 5.5 inches screen size phone.
It would have looked more stunning with the full HD display panel. I hope Vivo will consider releasing its another version with the full HD display. In a way to cut the bezels, the company has shifted the Fingerprint sensor to the rear side of the device which works very fast as always.
Overall it seems a nice device with a larger display in small device size, Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM is giving smooth performances. It has 3225mAh battery but there is no fast charging since it has the 720p HD display the battery should last longer and you may not miss the fast charging unless you are switching from fast charging enabled device.
