Decathlon don’t need any introduction, it is one of the biggest one-stop stores for all kind of sports products and accessories on a global scale, including tech or electronic accessories and products useful for running and other sports. I am expecting to review some of the Decathlon tech products soon but for now, the Decathlon product team have suggested me to try something that would be a new content experience for me and my audience, hence the Kalenji Run Support Running Shoes by Decathlon.
The Run Support Men’s Running Shoes is available under the brand name Kalenji, which is one of the well-known sports brands by Decathlon. This is the brand new product by the company in the running shoes segment. Kalenji Run Support Running Shoes are designed and manufactured with the thoughts of providing the combination of three most important elements for any sports shoes especially for the running or jogging shoes which are Cushioning, Breathability and Comfort.
The fitting of these shoes is perfect, you may find your regular size a bit larger but that is because of its mesh design and moreover, the running shoes should not be compact fitting. The fitting of these shoes is complementing the breathability and comfort. The Kalenji Run Support Shoes are mainly for the first-timers or the beginners, it’s perfect for the jogging on an average of 7KMs per day.
We all use some kind of sports shoes from some brands in our daily life, the requirement and pattern of using the sports shoes may be different but cushioning, breathability and comfort are the key important things when we look for the sports shoes. I have been using the Kalenji Run Support Running Shoes for more than a week and swapping alternatively with my other sports shoes by Nike and Asics which are at least two or three folds the price as Kalenji Shoes still it’s more comfortable and lighter than them.
The Kalenji Run Support Running Shoes are very lightweight with the perfect breathability. It feels lighter than my Asics GEL-SONOMA 4 Running Shoe but I like the cushioning of Asics more. The top portion of the shoes has complete mesh design, Decathlon has done this 3D mesh design for these shoes to make the running more comfortable for all body and weather type; whether you perspire a lot of running in the extreme humidity, the Run Support Running Shoes will maintain proper breathability and the cushioning will give you comfort to keep you on the track whether you are running on road, trail or treadmill.
It has reflecting strips on the back/heel portion and on front upper, the Kalenji Logo with a strip is on the tongue of the shoes. These reflectorized strips will glow when lights coming from any vehicle or any other light sources will reach on your shoes. It’s very basic but important for safety when you are running at night or in very low light conditions.
The composition of Run Support shoes is 60.0% Polyester (PES), 35.0% Polyurethane (PU), 5.0% Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for upper. The outer sole is made of 50.0% Rubber – Synthetic, and 50.0% Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA).
The Run Support Running Shoes by Decathlon are available in four colour variants. The finishing and product materials are same on all variants. These colour variants are in combinations of Red+White, Blue+White, Black+White and the White+Black. The bottom sole of all colour variants are black; I like the complete black sole for shoes so it won’t get dirty very often.
However, the white colour variant with black shole is not exactly white as you can see in the picture, it’s more like a light cream colour. The kind of stylish design and colour combination it has, it can also be used as the regular sports shoes and it may nicely go with any regular outfits.
Kalenji Run Support Running Shoes by Decathlon is the low-cost, durable, comfortable, very lightweight running shoes with proper cushioning which makes it a must-have running shoes for beginners and regular runners as well. It comes with the 90 Days return policy and a minimum of two years of warranty. I highly recommend these shoes for daily running workouts, as well as, in short distance races.
