Realme XT Launched with 64-Megapixel Quad-Camera Setup, Price Starting from ₹15,999

Realme India has launched another mobile phone with the record 64-Megapixel quad camera setup. Realme XT is the new version of previously launched mid-range android mobile Realme X. By launching the phone before upcoming Redmi Note 8 series the company has bagged the tag of launching the first mobile phone in the Indian market with the 64MP quad-camera setup.

However, Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro in China with 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP camera setup and an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor; the official launch date of Redmi Note 8 Pro is yet to be announced but it’s expected to be launched by the October end.

Oppo’s sub-brand Realme is clearly competing with one of the most successful brands in India, Xiaomi. Xiaomi has a very popular Redmi series phones. Redmi is not just among the popular brands in India but it’s also the most successful mobile phone brand in the low and mid-budget segment.

Realme is targetting the Redmi and its market share in every possible way, Realme might not exceed Redmi India in terms of the market share yet but it seems to be a winning the battle of launching feature-packed mobile phones and other products in India an ultra-competitive price tags.

Some of the key features of Realme XT was already made public by the company via different social media sites which includes the 64-Megapixel Quad-Camera Setup, screen size, processor etc. Realme XT comes with the three RAM and storage variants which are as 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and top variant with 8GB RAM + 128 GB storage.

Realme has used the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor which is a slightly upgraded version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 the SoC powering the previously launched Realme X. Let’s take a look at the detailed features/specifications of Realme XT.

Realme has again partnered with Flipkart to sell the Realme XT online, its first sale is scheduled for September 16 at 12 pm (noon). The company is offering an exciting offer for the first 64,000 Realme XT buyers, these early buyers will get one-time screen replacement for free within six months.

Apart from the XT, the CEO of Realme has also tipped that the company will release a new phone called Realme XT 730G in December this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC and 30W VOOC fast charging support, it would be the next variant of Realme XT.
