The Shenzhen, China-based budget smartphone company Tecno introduced Camon 30 series smartphones in Barcelona during the MWC 2024. The company has started the rollout of Tecno Camon 30, 30 5G and 30 Pro and it is now all set to hit the market by the end of April 2024.
Tecno Camon 30 series smartphones will be a camera-centric Android smartphone in the budget smartphone market segment. The top variant in the Camon 30 segment, the Tecno Camon 30 Pro will have the Dimensity 8200 Processor and combined triple 50MP camera; on the rear Sony IMX890 50MP 1/1.56″ primary lens with OIS and a 50 MP ultrawide camera on the back. The front-facing camera has another 50 MP sensor.
The Tecno Camon 30 5G will be powered with Dimensity 7020 chipset which is comparatively less powerful than the Camon 30 Pro but that might get compensated with the 6.78” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Camon 30 also gets a 50 MP selfie and a 50 MP primary camera with OIS, with 1/1.57″ sensor.
Finally, the base variant of this series the Tecno Camon 30 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 70W charging and a Helio G99 chipset based on the official information.
All three Tecno Camon 30 series smartphones have already reached various African markets. The global availability of Tecno Camon 30, 30 5G and 30 Pro are expected by the end of April 2024. So by the end of April 2024, the Camon 30 series should also reach the Indian Market and be available online and offline. The pricing is also something that varies based on the different markets.
