Let’s welcome a new mobile phone company in India. Nearly two years ago in 2018, Xiaomi had launched the Pocophone F1 which is still in the market and people are still considering it while looking for an android smartphone; this is all because of Xiaomi’s strategy to deliver the top class products in the affordable price range. Xiaomi has not released any other phone after the PocoPhone F1 under the brand name Poco which kind of unexpected considering the success of the F1 but now it seems Xiaomi had planned something else for Poco.

Xiaomi India chief Manu Kumar Jain has announced on his Twitter handle that the company has made the Poco an independent mobile phone brand and company in India. Now Poco will be operated as an independent vertical moving forward outside of the Xiaomi brand. Xiaomi and its officials have also hinted about making Redmi an independent brand as well. The Chinese tech company is running social media campaign calling ‘Redmi by Xiaomi’ Using the #Redmi2020. Xiaomi’s Redmi is one of the most successful mobile phone series by any mobile phone manufacturer in India.

Realme was launched as a sub-brand of Oppo to compete with the Xiaomi’s Redmi and other mobile phones in the segment but soon after the success of few products, Oppo had made Realme as an independent brand and independent company as well.
