Google has decided to take a unique approach to beat smartphone leakers at their own game by showing off the Pixel 4’s back and camera on its official @madebygoogle Twitter account. Finally, Google Pixel phone is going to get the dual camera setup in its upcoming device called Pixel 4. So far, Pixel phones have been able to excel in camera performance with the single lens, now it’s official that upcoming Google Pixel Phone the Pixel 4 will have a dual camera setup.

Is this just a unique approach to beat smartphone leakers at their own game or Google is playing safe? You might have seen the iPhone 11 leaked images. Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 images are similar to each other, the basic camera bump design is very similar. Apple has not shared any official clarification about the leaked iPhone 11 image yet. Google might have confirmed the camera and phone’s rear design so early to avoid its design comparison with Apple’s iPhone 11.

This is an early image of the upcoming ‘Made By Google’ phone but the image clearly shows that Google Pixel 4 is not just going to be the first ever phone with a dual rear camera but there will also be significant changes in the design.

Google has confirmed the camera design of Google Pixel 4 but other information about the phone is still a mystery. In the photo shared by Google, there is a tiny third sensor; Lewis Hilsenteger (Unbox Therapy) hinted in his recent video that it can be the “spectral sensor”. Spectral Sensor was already there on Pixel 3, it is used to help the camera deal with strobing lights or screens, Google also calls it a “flicker sensor.”

Similar to its predecessor Pixel 4 camera will be accompanied by a dual flash system. There is another sensor in the right corner appearing like a dot which can be the laser autofocus. So far all Google Pixel phones have the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor but this time Google might go with the In-Display fingerprint sensor since the fingerprint sensor is not there in the phone’s rear image.
